A note on intention.

Studio Luho began as a personal search for clarity. It grew from the frustration of navigating a menswear landscape caught between the disposable and the inaccessible, and the desire for something more—something honest. It led to a simple, guiding principle: create a considered uniform for our community, here in Melbourne.

Our design process is one of discipline. We edit and refine, focusing on the essential forms that serve a purpose in a modern wardrobe. We ask how a piece will feel on a cool Melbourne morning, how it can transition from the studio to the evening, and how it will wear not just next month, but in five years' time. This commitment to longevity guides our choice of materials—from GOTS-certified cotton to traceable Australian merino wool.

"Made in Melbourne" is the foundation of our work. We partner with a small circle of local craftspeople whose skill and dedication are stitched into every garment. This proximity allows for a level of quality and consideration that is central to our ethos. We believe in transparency, not as a trend, but as a form of respect for our makers and for you. We want to share their stories, and the story of each garment, openly.

Ultimately, our goal is to encourage a more mindful way of engaging with what we wear. We believe a well-designed object should be lived in, cared for, and repaired, not simply replaced.

This is our work. It is quiet, it is considered, and it is made for you.
